About JP

Thank you for visiting JP's site!

Born in Malta in 1989; JP Migneco has practiced art throughout his life. In 2015 he graduated in Fine Art from the Malta College of Arts, Science & Technology. He then went on to complete a Master of Fine Arts in Digital Arts degree from the University of Malta in 2017. Since then Migneco has produced three solo exhibitions in Valletta and Sliema, and has taken part in collective exhibitions in Malta and internationally.

JP Migneco’s practice utilises a process that involves planning, experimentation, and interdisciplinary mediums. His work is often inspired by ideas related to landscape painting, geometry, and colour theory, incorporating methods of reinterpreting images of symbolic objects and locations through the use of illusory colour patterns, which are often derived from notions related to modern art, geology and architecture.

  • Yes, prices vary according to sizes of prints. Each artwork is reproduced as a high-quality giclée print on Hahnemühle cotton art paper. For this reason some works cannot be offered in much larger sizes due to the negative impact it would have on retaining quality. If anyone is interested in ordering a print in a particular size they could contact JP directly to discuss their preferences in the section below.
